We use computing skills throughout the curriculum. Each week, pupils in Year 1 - 6 have discrete computing lessons. We follow the Teach Computing Curriculum scheme from the National Centre for Computing Education.
The scheme is broken into 6 units, studied across the academic year. At St Theresa's we refer to these units as ‘Golden Threads’:
- Computing, Systems and Networks
- Creating Media
- Programming A
- Data and Information
- Creating Media
- Programming B

We aim to use computing and technology to support learning and enhance skills throughout our whole curriculum. By doing this, we will equip our pupils with the knowledge and confidence to embrace the fast-paced digital world they are living in.
