Our dinners are provided by Taylor Shaw.  Each day the children have a choice of 3 options.

Children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 are provided with a lunch free of charge.  If you think you may be eligible to claim for Free School Meals, in any year group, please visit the office to find out what you need to do to make a claim.

Anxiety Awareness – The link below offers easily implemented guidance to help children with childhood anxiety. It provides parents and teachers with a straightforward structure that is simple to use when explaining what anxiety is to children, how to recognise positive and negative feelings, how to handle these emotions and much, much more.

Most Courses start at around 9am and finish at 11am.



Family Learning course

Be confident – Feel good – Tuesday 5th November – Tuesday 10th December 2019 at 9am-11am.

Maths/English workshop – Tuesday 11th February 2020 at 9am-11am.

FS English or Maths workshop – Tuesday 18th May 2020 at 9am-11am.

Family Learning are presently in the process of putting together a course on Makaton due to a few parents asking for this. Please let Mrs. Windle know if you are interested or want any more information on this course or any of the others.

End Period Poverty

Comedian and best selling author David Baddiel will talk about his latest book The Taylor Turbochaser . It’s about a disabled 11 year old girl whose inventor  friend turns her electric wheelchair into a supercar.  Meet David on Monday 21 October at 5pm in the Foundry, University of Sheffield Students’ Union.  Tickets are priced £5 and the event is suitable for children aged 8+.
On Saturday 19 October at 11am Sheffield based author Sharna Jackson will talk about her book High Rise Mystery – the UKs first detective series to feature young black detectives.  The event will take place in the Carpenter Room in the Central Library and is suitable for children aged 8+.
For younger children we have the author and illustrator Sophy Henn, creator of the popular Bad Nana series.  There will be laughs, live drawing and lots of opportunity to join in and find out what Bad Nana has been up to.  This event takes place on Saturday 26 October at 1pm in the Carpenter Room in the Central Library and is suitable for children aged 6+.
