Reception during Lockdown
During this period of lockdown, please use Teams for remote learning.
General whole school message:
When using any part of Teams, we expect children to stay focused on work.
Chat is not for talking to each other, other than about work. Children must not try to invite others or set up their own channels, groups or Teams. This is for the safety of all children and to ensure that all pupils are able to focus on their learning.
Please use the firstname.lastname@example.org to email any questions or photographs of your work.
Please ensure you check for updates on the school App.
This week we are still looking at dinosaurs. We will be thinking about what dinosaurs eat, reading stories and doing some writing about dinosaurs. Keep checking on the website and on Teams for different activities you can do at home.

Use the play dough recipe to make your own play dough and do some Dough Disco
In a large bowl, combine all of your dry ingredients (flour, salt, cream of tartar) and mix well.
Mix food coloring with your water first. Then add the vegetable oil and water with food coloring to a large pot. Mix together.
Add the dry ingredients to your pot and mix well.
Cook over low to medium heat until the dough starts to form and becomes dry.
Once it starts to form a ball together and looks fully cooked, take off the heat. Let the dough cool first before touching.
Once cool, knead the dough for 5 minutes to make the dough soft.
We will be sending more information about remote learning using Teams as soon as possible.
